Our Rug Library

I always buy rug books and give some of them to our clients who appreciate rugs, kilims, and textiles. Our old library was small so I bought this new library which is bigger and can place in more books. Sometimes I buy few copies from one single title. It does not matter if the book is interesting. I do not intend to keep all of them. My clients who love rugs and look at them as art, history and culture, appreciate a rug/textile book as a free of charge book.

I also read some of these books and enjoy them a lot. If I find  good articles in some rug journals and magazines, I make copies and keep them in files in binders for my future references. There is so much to learn and love about rugs. Each rug, specially if it is a village, tribal, or rural rug has many unique stories to tell and share.
